Four Quilts for New Orleans

Hi, all!

I wanted to show off four quilts I finished this week that will be going to New Orleans in the fall...

These four tops were sent to us by Katie of Swim Bike Quilt!  Thanks, Katie!!  They'll be added to the other quilts sent as part of the Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge.

Oh - and speaking of Katie, she's once again hosting 100 Quilts For Kids, running this year from June 15th to October 15th.  You can read more about it here!

Hugs!

Sarah

  1. How big are these quilts? I love the way the simple squares are arranged. Are they 5" squares? Simple and effective!

    1. Yes, they are 5" squares - Kate did a quilt-along last year for 100 Quilts For Kids and this was the featured quilt. Go to this link:

      http://www.swimbikequilt.com/p/100-quilts-for-kids.html

and scroll down - there are links to all the quilt-along posts there. It's super simple, the only complicated part is the measurement for the white strips so that it works out the right size to use the 5" squares! The final measurement is about 42" square, I think, so it's easy to back too!
