Here is my latest flimsy for St. Anne's. Since my job is to make the top, I'm now posting it. It will go to other members who will sandwich it, baste it, and tie it. Then someone else will bind it. This keeps all our members who don't have machines feeling helpful and contributing to the cause.
A honorary member gave us the embroidered blocks. Aren't they cute?! This was another disappearing nine patch pattern. The outer corners measured 6 1/2" square. The quilt will measure about 35.5" square when done.
Such a sweet quilt and it is even more special as so many were involved in it's creation.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. A labor of love by many.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using embroidered blocks in a D9P - brilliant!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great quilt. The D9P is a great way to use scraps but I love the focus fabric that was used here.
ReplyDeleteA very happy quilt.
ReplyDeleteThose embroidered blocks make this quilt so special!
