I wanted to share with you one of our St. Anne's Sewdality quilts:
It's brighter than it seems in the picture -the camera doesn't want to cooperate some days. This quilt is one of our prayer quilts that we give to low income mothers at their post-partum visit. One member made the embroidered blocks (Thanks, Deanna!) and provided some of the fabric. I put the top together. Then a couple of members sandwiched, pin basted, and tied it. Then Isabelle took it home to be bound - thank you all. We're going to silent auction this one at the Altar Society boutique next Sunday, so that we can buy batting. The back is a flannel plaid. We like to use the bring the back forward to make the binding method. Here's a close-up. You can read about us here and see more quilts.
Measures about 36" square.
What a sweet baby quilt, I know it will be well loved!
