Flimsy Stage...

These 6 tops were donated to Margaret's Hope Chest last summer. They all are about the size of an afghan, roughly 40" X 60". I enjoyed making all of them, at different times during the previous year but felt no need to finish them or own them, as quilts. The ability to 'send a top' is a great help if you have physical limitations.

    All lovely tops. Like how you used the strings with yellow blocks and yellow star fabric.

    thanks Elaine, it's an older pattern called Railroad Crossing. Trudy Hughes did a book about it, turning it into one of her "Quilt In A Day". The fabric requirements are quite minimal, and you can use most anything.

    Wonderful quilt tops. Quilting larger quilts is difficult, so I'm glad you've found a worthwhile place to donate to :)
